Let me start out by letting you know that I am a pet lover, I have a dog and two cats. I have one biological daughter cuz you may be able to tell from my profile, I don't have the secondary child on the profile because she's not technically mine, but I do have a young girl that has adopted me as her father and I have adopted her verbally as my daughter so I guess you could say I have two children just one that is in her thirties her own. I joined the church back in 2010 and have a very strong testimony of the Gospel. I find pleasure and serving at the temple, no recently there have been some health concerns that have made it so that I needed to step down temporarily. Hope to have those concerns behind me soon so that I can reinstate my calling in the temple as an ordinance worker. Before these concerns came up I had the opportunity to serve for 9 months in the temple, it was one of the most challenging experiences in my life stepping down because of my love for the ordinances. I grew up in a very religious home and had to make sacrifices and joining the church, one of which happened to be leaving my old church knowing that many of my family members and all of my friends would no longer be able to interact with me under their religious policy. Some family members have come around after more than a decade of shunning though none of my old friends have come back around. I'm grateful to have the gospel in my life and the ordinances there in the temple. My wife passed away and 2024 which was quite challenging to say the least, I had to come to the realization that it was the Lord's will as her health had been progressively declining. Friendship is important in any solid relationship, friendship is where I would like to start and maybe at some point we can see where the future takes us. One thing that I would be looking for in a companion should the relationship progress to that is someone that loves the gospel and maybe interested in serving alongside of me at the temple and or open to being a senior missionary companion when retirement rolls around.
